The Role

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new opportunities that align with Kantify's vision and strategic objectives. This role is perfect for individuals who have a solid foundation of experience in a related field and are looking to expand their expertise and impact in the biotech industry. Job content

• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and collaborations to expand our reach and accelerate our mission.
• Lead efforts in communicating our scientific advancements and capabilities to a broad audience, including potential partners, investors, and grant agencies.
• Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, representing Kantify at conferences and networking events.
• Craft compelling business proposals, presentations, and grant applications to engage potential partners, investors, and funding organizations.
• Work closely with our R&D team to align business strategies with our scientific capabilities and objectives.
• Travel at conference or some of our team meetings in Belgium or abroad

Your missions will evolve depending on our strategy and your interest.

The skills and capabilities we are looking for

• A Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in business development, scientific communication, fundraising, or a related role within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• A foundational understanding of the drug development process, especially in small molecules.
• Strong communication and writing skills, capable of effectively presenting scientific concepts to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Reliability, ability to work remotely.
• Eagerness to learn and grow, as we constantly innovate and operate in a (positively) intellectually challenging environment at the crossroads between biotech and AI.
• Constructive spirit, looking for solutions and opportunities in daily challenges.
• Ability to structure your thoughts and work to keep focus in your objectives.
• A proactive, self-directed approach to work, thriving in a remote environment.
• A commitment to making a difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

However, we also strongly value the ability to learn, so if you don't have such experience but are a fast learner, we still want to hear from you.
